MBA: ASM’s IBMR (Institute of Business Management and Research) has partnered with City University, Seattle for offering the MBA program. Students of ASM have the unique opportunity of earning a MBA degree from one of the world’s most reputed universities. The students can make the most of the transfer credit facility after they complete the first year (equivalent to PGDM) of the 2-year program.
This postgraduate program in management readies the student to launch his or her career as a budding manager or supervisor in a multinational corporation. The learners have the scope of choosing a specialization stream from a range of specializations like accounting, project management, operations management, and human resources management. Candidates who have secured at least 50% marks in graduation (arts, science or commerce stream) on aggregate basis can forward their applications.
Apart from being a graduate, the candidate also needs to secure a valid score in CAT/MAT/XAT/CET/MH-MBA.
BBA: The Bachelor of Business Administration is a three-year full-time program for which classes are held in Chikhali campus in Pune. The University of Pune has affiliated ASM’s BBA course. The program enables the students to acquire a thorough understanding of the management philosophy as applied in the corporate sector.
After completing the BBA course, the learners develop communication skills, interpersonal skills, teamwork skills, entrepreneurial, and networking skills. The institute admits students strictly on the basis of rules and regulations specified by University of Pune and according to an entrance test conducted by the institution. Any student who has cleared the 10+2 examination (any stream) in the English medium with at least 40% marks in aggregate can apply for BBA.
Alternatively, all candidates who hold a two-year diploma in pharmacy or three-year diploma of ‘Board of Technical Education’ of the Maharashtra government are also eligible. However, all eligible candidates have to clear the ASM’s Common Entrance Test for securing admission. The BBA course’s syllabus is spread across six semesters. One can choose to specialize in agri-business management, service sector management, human resource management, and marketing or finance streams.
BCA: The syllabus of ASM’s BCA program has been devised innovatively so as to enable students to have a thorough knowledge about computer applications. The knowledge that learners gain and the hands-on training they receive go a long way in helping them to build their professional careers. The basic eligibility condition in order to qualify for admission to the program is a pass in 10+2/higher secondary (of any stream) with minimum 40% aggregate marks.
All other eligibility terms and conditions are the same as the BBA course. And like the BBA program, the curriculum of the BCA course is completed in 3 years, each year divided into two semesters. Both the IT and ITEs sectors, have in the past few years, witnessed rapid growth and development.
Once students complete the institution’s BCA program, they can apply for various entry-level positions in the IT industry. At the same time, they can explore the employment opportunities offered by the institute’s placement cell.
MCA: The MCA program is a 3-years full-time course recognized by Mumbai University/Savitribai Phule Pune University. ASM’s recent tie-up with IBM allows the students to receive certifications in Big Data and Business Analytics from the latter. All B. Tech/BCA/B.E. graduates who’ve achieved 50% aggregate score are eligible to apply. The institution also admits students for this program via the lateral entry mode.

M. Sc. (Computer Science): There are good reasons why an IT graduate should choose the institution’s M. Sc. (computer science) course. The program has been created by IBM experts and students receive instructions from IBM counselors. AICTE has approved the program which has been affiliated by two well-known Indian universities-Mumbai University and Savitribai Phule Pune University.
After completing this master degree program, the student can expect guaranteed placement in a recognized national/international firm. The most basic eligibility criterion is a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
