Any student who applies for this postgraduate program in nursing can choose to specialize in medical-surgical, community health, pediatric, psychiatric or obstetrical and gynecological nursing. The curriculum of this course enables students to acquire advanced knowledge about the subjects that they studied at the graduate level.
The students also learn how to apply their knowledge about cogent theories in actual practice. At the same time, they receive training on how to exploit the learned skills to pursue higher education and boost research skills. Once the students complete this postgraduate nursing program, they become ready to take up managerial positions in the nursing segment related to healthcare.
After the students receive their certificate, they start applying to jobs that would see them working as consultants, nurse specialists, administrators, researchers, and teachers. The students gain the competency to profess in a range of professional environments.
