Chettinad Dental College and Research Institute

The college covers the land area of approximately 100 acres and the campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The college has different administrative blocks with required facilities and resources such as spacious Lecture halls with the seating capacity of around 300 students. The Lecture Halls are equipped with latest teaching aids including LCD Projectors, Smart podium, Live Video Sharing facility, etc.. 

Other facilities available for the students include:

• Library: A Central Library is available on the campus with all the necessary resources and facilities. The library has a collection of textbooks, journals and reference books. E-resources like online journals, e-books, and media resources are accessible. There is a separate discussion room with cabins and seating area. Students can also use the available internet facility in the library in order to easily access E-resources.
• Laboratories: Dental Laboratories are present in the college to cater to the practical experiences for the students. The labs are equipped with Dental Prostheses and various other tools of high quality that are used by the students to gain practical experience. 
• Auditorium: An air-conditioned auditorium called Sigapi Achi Convention Centre with the seating capacity of around 1200 people is there in the campus. The auditorium is used for screening movies and conducting other events. Additionally, a mini auditorium is available which can accommodate more or less 500 people and it is equipped with projectors and Wi-Fi connection. The mini Auditorium is used for formal programmes like lecture sessions, Conferences, CME, etc.
• Cafeteria: A spacious Food Court with hygienic food is served to the students. It has many affordable food options for vegetarian and non-vegetarian students. The food court also has beverages available including soft drinks, fresh juice, dessert, etc.
• Hostel: The hostel is in the close proximity of the campus and it has well-furnished rooms with several facilities including a mess which serves hygienic and full-filling food. The hostel has 24x7 security and CCTV system. Moreover, students can access Wi-Fi in the hostel.
• Sports: There is a dedicated team to encourage students to participate in games and organise various sports tournaments. The College motivates students to participate in inter-college tournaments. Every year, Freshers’ sports meet is organised for students. There are different sports facilities at the college including Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, Track field, etc.
• Transport: Bus facility is provided by the college. The College buses are Air conditioned and cover major routes of the city.
• Other Facilities: Medical facilities, Banquet Hall, Gym, Bank, etc.
