Indian Institute of Information Technology [IIIT Pune] established in 2016 is a Autonomous University. IIIT Pune is approved by UGC. Admission in IIIT Pune is offered in Engineering at UG/ PG/ Doctorate level.
In 2006, Indian Institute of Information Technology was established in Pune. The objective of IIIT Pune was to provide best technical education to the young aspirants of the nation. It is approved by the UGC with “Institutions of National Importance” status.
Its vision is to impart innovative education to students and develop them into ethical and proficient professionals equipped with requisite knowledge and skills in the field of Information Technology and Allied areas. Its mission is to foster a collaborative academic atmosphere for the students where ideas can be exchanged and capabilities enhanced to resolve challenges of current business scenarios.
The institute offers B.Tech Program in Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering. It also offers a B.Tech Honors program besides M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering. To get admitted in IIIT Pune, candidates have to qualify the qualifications and eligibility criteria as defined by the institute. For getting admission in the M.Tech program, candidates must qualify GATE. Those who have either not appeared / qualified GATE have to appear for a Written Test and Personal Interview conducted by the institute.
