IIIT Ranchi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The college is currently running under the temporary campus as the college is not that old but all the basic facilities are available be it great classrooms, library and study rooms as well as well equipped labs. The mess is attached with the academic block as well as separate mess is available with the hostel rooms.

The overall campus life is kind of average. There are various clubs to excel in the field of technology. Currently we don't have a permanent campus which is one of the drawbacks of the college. So, the classes were split till 2023 as 1st year students resided in the JUT campus and the seniors resided in the Khelgaon campus.

Campus environment at the college is very chill and vibrant. Taking out time for extracurricular is a bit difficult since we have to manage academics and coding at the same time so, one might not get chance to explore extracurricular more. Our college has well-structured hostels to offer to its students. There are two buildings on the Namkum campus. H. T3 and T4. I live in T3 building and A is there. C is also present in the room. It has six floors, each with four apartments, each with three rooms and one hallway. One has to go through counselling to enrol in these hostels.

Ephemere is the last major festival held in 2023. University life is largely ignored, with little to no festivals or events. There is a library that is open until school hours around 6 PM. Not all books are available here. Classrooms have basic needs. The situation for students is further exacerbated by the lack of sports equipment and the lack of suitable playgrounds and groups for students.
