The college has its affiliation with MAKAUT University, Kolkata. There are different departments in the institute such as Computer Sciences Department, Electronics Department, Electrical Department, Mechanical Department, and Civil Department.
The college is currently offering the subject B.Tech in various streams such as Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Computer Science and Engineering in Cyber Security with Block chain and IoT (Internet of Things), Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering. All these courses are supposed to be finished in a period of 4 years (8 semesters and 2 semesters per year).

Future Institute of Technology has a surprisingly good infrastructure on its state-of-the-art campus in Kolkata. The campus is outspread over 5 acres of land and has all the required facilities such as parking facility, a green campus, and high speed internet. There are 3 Auditoriums that have air Conditioning with a seating option of 100, 300, and 850 capacities. It also has a facility of easy access to public transport, etc.

Library: The College has a big library outspread over 8000 sq. ft. with a separate floor for the e-library or digital library and LIBSYS provides its access. The library consists of 5000+ textbooks, 250 CD ROMs, and more than 150 national and international journals. They have 8 national and regional newspapers available in English, Hindi, and Bengali languages.
Computer Lab: The College has a facility of a computer center with a total of more than 900 computers with core 2 duo. There is a high-speed server configuration connected by LAN with a 16 Mbps internet connection.
Co-Curricular Facilities: The College also has a dedicated cell for entrepreneurship augmentation and a communication and language lab. The college has a program named sponsorship for Postgraduate courses in which engineering graduates can avail of the benefit.
