Infrastructure is good here; almost all the facilities are available for students as well as teachers. All the departments have separate clubs, for example, I'm in the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department so this department has a club name is Dhatu Mitra which conducts material related events.

Campus life is good and very enjoyable. The institute encourages the students to participate in the inter - NIT tournament and also conducts various fests like Techvaganza, Rang-e-Chinar which is certainly the largest cultural fest of Jammu and Kashmir state.
