BBA-CA program is one of the most popular courses offered by Suryadatta College of Management, Information Research, and Technology. The AICTE approved 3-year BBA-CA course gives the students, solid grounding on management and computer applications related subjects. The students learn the concepts pertaining to computer applications and general management and how the two disciplines interact in real life.
There exists a clear mismatch in the demand-supply position in India with regards to IT professionals. Students, after completing SCMIRT’s BCA program will be able to serve the IT industry, thereby meeting the high demand for computer professionals, considerably. A few subjects that the learners will cover in the six semesters include financial accounting, business communication, management principals, DBMS, and e-commerce.
The basic eligibility criterion comprises a pass in 10+2/HSC in any stream where English should be a compulsory subject. Additionally, the applicant has to attain at least 45% on an aggregated basis. Students that hold a pharmacy diploma of the Board of Technical Education of the Maharashtra Government can also apply.
All eligible applicants have to clear CET (common entrance test) conducted by the relevant college or institution.
The B. Sc (Animation) program is an undergraduate course with an academic duration of 3 years, divided into six semesters. The program which lays emphasis on professional practice, pioneering filmmaking, inventiveness, and animation, elevates the student’s creativity level. The inventive curriculum of this graduate degree course, allows a student to gain thorough knowledge of animation.
Students develop a robust understanding of 2D and 3D animation as well as their applications in small and big screens, and online. The learners receive effective training for applying their acquired skills in the animation industry. B. Sc (animation) students become familiar with techniques, methods, and minutiae of animation technology.
Once they complete the course, the students develop the competencies to handle animation projects from the embryonic to delivery stage. For qualifying, the candidate has to pass the 10+2 exam from a recognized university or institution. The student has to pass in English mandatorily and also clear any three subjects out of mathematics, chemistry, biology, physics, and biology.
Students interested in building a strong base in computer science and IT systems can apply for the B. Sc-CS course. By studying this undergraduate program, students imbibe the ins and outs of information technology processes, approaches, and methods. Armed with a B. Sc-CS degree, a student can easily find an entry-level job in the IT sector.

The M. Sc. (CS) course has a two year academic schedule, segregated into four semesters, and is a full-time program. In the first three semesters, students complete four theory papers and one lab program. Students have to complete an institutional project and undergo industrial training in the final semester.
This master degree course enables students to study and comprehend programming languages in an analytical manner. The candidates gain knowledge on new languages, appreciate the implementation methods of basic languages, and evaluate the design methodologies of programming languages.
Any student with a B. Sc (CS), B.E. (CS), BE (IT/electronics & telecommunication) degree, can forward his application for M. Sc.-CS. Also, the minimum aggregate score in the final examination of the respective program should be 50%.
Young aspirants who want to launch and boost their careers in the commercial fields of finance, statistics, economics, marketing, and accounting, should pursue M. Com. Students during the course of study, develop sound knowledge on subjects related to commerce, including business management, accounting, and economics. After completing this postgraduate program, students gain the efficiency for managing a firm or business, using analytical, entrepreneurial, and conceptual skills.
Any student who possesses a B. Com degree from a UGC recognized college or university can apply for M. Com.
