COEP Technological University Pune Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

Hostel life is very energetic at COEP. The bond of goodwill you create here is for a lifetime. Every room has 4 students But the rooms are very spacious and have good auras. The hostels also are very old but in very good condition. You get good space to keep your stuff. The best part about the hostel is the food. The mess here is student-run and at subsidized rates. The food is really tasty and healthy. The chicken meal and baryonic on Sunday is mesmerizing. Even 40-50 years old, alumni visit the hostel just to eat that chicken meal. Yes there is hostel or residential facilities available for all the students and also for the faculties of the college, and also for some students and organizations that have their projects going on with the faculties. There are many hostels for both the genders. It is not a co-ed hostel. There is mess or canteen available which is common for both the genders. But the quality of food is not very good. One has to remember the taste of food his or her mother makes. There are washing machines, laundry facilities, bathrooms, and not so long lobbies in every hostel.Read Full Review

Hostel is quite good. I took admission in the hostel of COEP; it is near the college itself. I didn't stay for much time in hostel because I have to move out to my home due to the pandemic and lockdowns. But the time I spent in hostel is some of the great time in my hostel life. The hostel has mess facility. Non-hostelites are allowed to enter the hostel premises. Non-hostelites can also join the mess in the hostel. They serve food 4 times a day in the hostel. The food is good to taste. One thing I didn't really like and was really disappointing throughout my stay at the hostel was the hygiene. The hostel is not maintained and they should really focus on that. The hostel doesn't have any entertainment rooms. The rooms in which students stay are also not well maintained and the bedding also is very poor.Read Full Review
