Officially established in 1998, Shantaram Potdukhe College of Law is situated in Chandrapur, Maharashtra. The college was started with a vision of preparing competent legal professionals. Its mission is to promote legal education and spread legal awareness to rural areas of the nation.
Affiliated to the Gondwana University, Gadchiroli, the college has also been recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and UGC.
The college offers admission to 5-years BA.LL.B and 3-years LL.B programs as UG programs, and a 2-years LL.M as a PG program. Admission Process
The college accepts MHCET LAW scores for admission into the UG programs. After qualifying this exam, students must participate in the CAP counselling sessions for allotment. The detailed admission process is highlighted below for your reference:

Students who are willing to take admission without appearing for the MHCET exam, have to apply through the university website. The application forms are issued in the month of July or August. Admission will be granted based on payment of fees within the given period of time.
The college offers scholarships and freeships to provide financial support to students from diverse backgrounds. Students have to undergo an initial online screening process conducted by the Higher Education Institution for eligibility verification. After this, students are shortlisted and based on their academic merit, financial need, and other relevant criteria, a final list of awardees is prepared. Scholarships are sanctioned only when this list gets approved by the Social Welfare Department of Govt. of Maharashtra.
