MGACH & RC is the finest college for studying Ayurveda and Medicine. The college has an affiliation with the Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences also known as DMIMS, Wardha, Maharashtra, and is recognized by CCIM (Central Council of Indian Medicine). The college is imparting medical education about Ayurveda to the students.

The college is offering graduation courses such as B.A.M.S (Bachelor of Ayurveda & Medicine Surgery) and Postgrad courses such as M.D. (Doctor of Medicine), M.S. (Master of Surgery). The college also offers Ph.D. in Ayurveda, certificate courses such as Panchakarma, Reverse Pharmacology, and Yoga, and they also provide PG Diploma in Yoga. They also have a position in Ayurveda Oncology, Ethnopharmacology, and Panchakarma.

Mahatma Gandhi Ayurved College take admission of students on the basis of their last qualification. The students willing to be admitted to the college can do so by visiting the college campus, filling out the form, and submitting the application and course fee.

The college takes admission into these streams on the following basis:

• B.A.M.S
  1. The applicant should be an Indian.
  2. The applicant must have completed an age of 17 years.
  3. The applicant must have succeeded in class 12th with 50% aggregate marks in PCB and English.
  4. The applicant must have cleared a NEET entrance test with the required scores.

• MD / MS
  1. The candidate must have obtained a graduate degree in Ayurveda from any known college of Ayurveda acknowledged by CCIM.
  2. The candidate must have achieved merit scores in AIAPGET.
  3. The candidate must have achieved a minimum of 50% marks in CET.
  4. The candidate must have an attendance of 80% in lectures and practical sessions to appear in the university exam.

• Ph.D. in Ayurveda and other subjects:  A PG degree in the related discipline with 55% marks, also should have qualify AICETPHD entrance test conducted by DMIMS.

The college provides Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Freeship Policy as financial help to needy students on the basis of their meritorious performance.

The college provides financial help to the 10 students on the following basis:

1. Students achieving the first position will get a 50% concession in their tuition fees.
2. Students achieving the second and third positions will get a 30% concession in their tuition fees.
3. Students achieving the fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh positions will get a 25% concession in their tuition fees.
4. Students achieving the eighth, ninth, and tenth position will get a 20% concession in their tuition fees.
