P.D. Hinduja College of Nursing

The college has an active placement cell that organises campus interviews for PG students and in-house recruitment interviews for UG students. Alongside all these, the placement cell organises various workshops, mock interviews, resume writing sessions for the students to develop their soft skills that are essential for the recruitment drives.

The P.D. Hinduja College of Nursing provides all kinds of infrastructural facilities to nurture the students academically and uplift their personality. The following are some of the facilities available at the institution for the students, upon admission:

• Soft Skill Training: The college organises soft skill training programs to ensure the students can work on their communication and other relevant skills essential to ace at the workplace. Theme-based soft skill programs for UG and PG final years students are organised. Similarly programs to uplift the emotional intelligence, compassion and overall skill essential in nursing service are conducted frequently.
• Health Clinic: The college has a full-equipped and bedded health clinic on the college premises. Minor injuries and basic health issues can be treated immediately for the students here. The health records and other relevant information are updated on an individual basis. The students and faculty also get free medical treatment when referred from the clinic to the parent hospital.
• Counselling Cell: The in-house counselling cell has counsellors who are available round the clock. From ice-breaker sessions to identifying and treating psychological issues of the student, the counselling cell also organises different activities like handwriting analysis, and more.
• Extra-Curricular Activities: There are different academic and social initiatives undertaken by the college where the students can participate. There are various initiatives related to women safety and preserving greenery.
• Laboratories: The college has several essential and well equipped laboratories for the nursing students. They have state-of-the-art instruments and are accessible to undergraduate and postgraduate students. There are experienced lab assistants to supervise the students, whether they are in a practical class or going for practice.
• Recreational Room: At the institution, there is a recreational room with various indoor games and activities to keep the students engaged and help them relax. From table tennis to television and music, the room is accessible to all the students whenever they want through the day.
