The main role of Training and Placement Cell at PCE is to provide campus placement to students in reputed companies including MNCs. Priyadarshini College of Engineering in Nagpur is one of the several group institutions under the aegis of Lokmanya Tilak Jankalyan Shikshan Sanstha. LTJSS was set up in 1983 by Dr. Satish Chaturvedi, a renowned and philanthropic visionary. Dr. Chaturvedi received full-fledged support from his better half Smt. Abhatai Chaturvedi, in creating one educational institute after another.
Presently, the educational trust which has 28 distinct academic institutions under its aegis is committed to deliver world-class education across several disciplines in the state of Maharashtra. LTJSS established PCE (Priyadarshini College of Engineering) in the year 1990, and the institution is one of the select engineering institutions in Nagpur offering degree course in eight distinct engineering fields. PCE offers programs in electronics and telecommunications engineering, mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, electronics engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, computer technology & information technology.
The engineering college also offers postgraduate programs in electronics engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer applications, and management. Nagpur University has granted due recognition to the academic institution, and all programs offered by PCE have the approval of AICTE. Priyadarshini College of Engineering has several faculties with their distinct laboratories that specialize in cutting-edge research. Admission to the engineering programs is based on state-level and national-level engineering entrance exams like SEEE and AIEEE. While 50% of seats are reserved for the management quota, the remaining 50% are filled up on the basis of merit. PCE’s vision is to evolve as the country’s foremost engineering college, both in terms of research and education.
