Krupanidhi Degree College

The Placement Cell at the college facilitates the students by bringing the companies on campus with job opportunities. The Cell is responsible to provide training to the students through various activities such as aptitude tests, soft skills training, resume writing, mock GD & PI, and also one-to-one interaction with the counsellors. It also coordinates throughout the entire recruitment process to ensure that the graduates get employed.

Each student at the college has to take 8-10 weeks internship after 2^nd semester as part of the curriculum at KGI. The attendance of each student is tracked and the final feedback is also taken from the companies by the placement cell to help the students with the pre-placement opportunities. The companies that have opened the doors for students for internships are Ford, Edelweiss, TVS, Exide, Apollo, Pearson, Maruti Suzuki, and many more.

The Placement Cell follows a Placements Calendar,

• From March to June, Pre Internship and Internship assistance is provided,
• From July to September, Students start their internship with their respective companies,
• From July to September, Pre-placement talks are done with the companies as per the feedback received after the internship is complete,
• From Mid-October to March, Final Placement assistance is provided.

The placement process includes Aptitude Tests >> GD >> PI >> Final Interview. The campus also organises Pool Campus drives, Job fairs, and Off-Campus drives.

The major recruiters who provide employment opportunities to the Krupanidhi Degree College students are Tech Mahindra, IBM, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Tally, NTT DATA, Larsen & Toubro, SAP, HP, HDFC Bank, Jio, Airtel, TATA, SBI, EY, etc.

It is located within the 11-acre campus of the Krupanidhi Group of Institutions along with multiple other colleges owned by them. It has a calm atmosphere with well-maintained lawns and greenery all around and has multiple facilities available including internet facilities throughout the campus for all the students. The facilities are as mentioned below:

• Hostel: The hostel buildings are Wi-Fi enabled and are different for boys and girls. The rooms are allotted on a single, double, and four-person sharing basis. Each room has beds, cupboards, study tables, and an attached washroom. A housekeeping facility is also given to maintain cleanliness. The wardens are responsible for the safety and security of the students.
• Food Court: The College has a Krupanidhi cafeteria and multi-cuisine food court. A provision for fresh fruits and fresh juices is also provided.
• Library: The library has individual sections and is well-stocked with books, reference materials, national & international journals, reports, etc. There is also a digital library with access to EBSCO Database, Publishing India Group, and HELINET Database. The e-library has online journals and international periodicals.
• Gymnasium: There is a well-equipped gym with proper equipment where Meditation and Yoga classes are also held during weekends.
• Transportation: The College has its buses and provide free transportation facility to the students. It covers all the main locations of Bangalore and also provides pick-and-drop service for hostellers between the city and the hostel during weekends.
• Sports: There are proper facilities provided to play the following sports - Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, and Cricket.
• Other facilities such as Auditorium, Computer Lab, Seminar Hall, Photo Studio, Ramp, etc. are also available on campus.
