Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Law College was established in 1946 by the Shri Shivaji Education Society, Amravati. The college is affiliated with Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University (SGBAU), Amravati and recognised by BCI. It is accredited by NAAC.
