Kishori Raman P.G. College

Being one of the prestigious colleges in Mathura, Kishori Raman P.G. College was established in 1947 by the Kishori Raman Shiksha Samiti. It is a government premier institute of higher education and research. Since its inception, the college has been dedicatedly focusing on imparting quality education, and instilling a sense of discipline and values into students.

The college is affiliated with Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Agra and approved by the AICTE.  Several courses are offered under the UG and PG levels in the field of Science, Commerce, and Humanities. Students can opt for various specialisations as offered by the college for individual programs.

The college grants admission into the B.A., B.Sc, and B.Com programs at the UG level. Similarly, a few post graduate programs available in the college are M.A., M.Sc, and M.Com. Before applying for the college, students are requested to go through the eligibility criteria carefully, and they are tabulated below:

*SC/ ST candidates seeking PG admission at the college will receive a 5% relaxation of marks in their minimum eligibility requirements.

Admission Process

The admission process of the college is conducted in both the online and offline modes. Please follow the steps mindfully to apply for the college:

• Visit the university website and generate a Web-Registration (WRN) code.
• Separate WRN codes are required for more than one course.
• Candidates must fill up the Google doc form available on the college website, and after filling up, download it.
• Visit the college and fill out the registration form. Submit the registration form and the downloaded Google form, and pay the admission form fees.
• Pay a registration fee at the college counter.
• Attach all required documents like testimonials, certificates, marksheets, etc. along with the application form.

The college offers admission only based on the academic merit secured by the students in the last qualifying examination. After submitting the application form, the admission authority of the college will review the form and all the documents. Students, who will be found eligible as per the rules of the university, will be called for the counselling process. At the time of counselling and final admission, students are required to submit the photocopies of all the necessary documents.

The college allows meritorious and needy students to avail the benefits of scholarships. This helps them to pursue college degrees and achieve success in life. Often students find higher degrees expensive, and it becomes an obstacle in their studies because of the lack of funds. Here the scholarships come into picture. The financial aid that the college provides is sponsored by the government. However, students have to maintain a minimum of 75% of attendance to be eligible for scholarships. Along with this, there are some other factors the college considers to sanction scholarships, and they are:

• General, OBC, and BC categories candidates’ parental income must not exceed INR 1 lakhs
• For SC and ST students, the family annual income should be less than INR 2 lakhs
• SC/ ST or any other categories of candidates’ parents’ should not be a government employee
• All students are required to have a proper running bank account in any nationalised bank
• Students should submit certificates such as income certificate, caste certificate (if any), domicile certificate, bank account passbook, and Aadhar card
