Vivek College of Commerce Mumbai Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The college is relatively smaller as it's just a building and a small parking space. The college building though has all the features one can ask for. The classrooms are huge and ventilated as there are no huge buildings nearby and therefore even though the rooms are not air-conditioned were still decent. The college building has separate boys and girls Gymkhana. Separate B.Com lab and B.Sc IT lab are also there in the main building. The college office and staff room are on the ground floor. All the floors of the building have separate boys and girls washroom. A mid-sized college library is also there on the second floor. An air-conditioned auditorium on the top and nice canteen in all is what Vivek college has.

The time in college was spent in classrooms as there was not much space in the campus to have fun with friends. Classrooms and canteens were the only places as any noise in library was not tolerated. In all, I had a great time at the college and what best was that Goregaon sports club offered special discounts for students of Vivek College of Commerce. Affiliated to the University of Mumbai and recognized as per UGC, Vivek College of Commerce has excellent infrastructure. Every year, the college seems to be developing in all ways. The library is vast and has thousands of books. The library utilizes internet technology to help students access the books easily. It has fixed timings and the environment is calm and peaceful. I have spent several hours in studying the course and I loved it. Apart from library, the college has a small playground where sports activities are conducted regularly. The building is huge and accommodates hundreds of students at a time. I never faced any problem with the infrastructure as the college is clean and well-maintained. The housekeeping staff aims and works hard to keep the college premises neat and tidy.

I must say that the campus life is great as the college conducts lot of special activities. These are out of the course syllabus but they provide us a valuable platform to grow our personality. The college conducts academics-related competitions such as essay writing, elocution, quiz competition and others to boost our knowledge-related skills. Also, the college conducts dance competitions, dance and music events, singing competitions, annual gatherings, acting workshops to boost our extra-curricular skills. We are not just told to study 24 hours of the day but are encouraged to participate in all kinds of activities. I have gained a lot of self-esteem and confidence due to these activities.
