K.K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research started its academic session in 1984. It was established in Bhausahebnagar and in 1986, it was shifted to Nashik. This is the only institute within Nashik which has been grouped under Platinum Category, 3 times by AICTE-CII survey of Industry Linked Institutes. It is recognised by the Government of Maharashtra and approved by AICTE and UGC under section 2(f) and 12 (B). KKWIEER is a NAAC accredited institute which provides courses under the affiliation of Savitribai Phule Pune University.
