Students seeking Admissions in the institute are invited to appear for IEMJEE Examination conducted by the IEM group for all the courses provided by the college. Students need to fill out the Registration Form for IEMJEE Examination with their details like Name, Email, and Phone number. At the time of filling out the form candidates must select their home as a venue because this writing exam will be held online. Candidates can collect their Hall Ticket from the email id provided by them.

*Candidates who are eligible for the scholarships must fill out the UEM Scholarship Application Form. Scholarships are limited and therefore, the Scholarship Committee will take the final decision. To continue the scholarship in further semesters, students having a 100% scholarship must secure a merit position in the top 5%. Students who have 50% and 25% Scholarships are required to secure a position in the top 10% of the merit list.

University of Engineering and Management was established in the year 2014 in the City of Joy, Kolkata. The University was started by the Act No. 25 of 2014 of West Bengal Government and is approved by AICTE, UGC. Also, it is accredited by NAAC with ‘Grade A'. Promoted by Institute of Engineering and Management Trust (IEM), the institute offers UG, PG, and Doctoral courses in the field of Management, Engineering, and Science.
Admission to an undergraduate level depends upon the marks scored in IEMJEE exam. Before that, it requires marks of 10+2 board. Candidates failing to secure passing marks in the entrance exam can take admission through counseling sessions and marks scored in 10+2 examinations. Candidates willing to go for Doctorate course have to clear the entrance exam conducted by the University.
Candidates willing to go for B.Tech admission can apply for the course even before the announcement of their class 12th result by way of provisional admission on the basis of class 10th results and the eligibility criteria for their entry would be IEMJEE score.

The quietest yet most voluminous place of the college is the library. Full of a large stock of books on each course and each subject with additional notes and informative assessments the library has become a significant source of information. There are in total 27000 books with 4600 books added each year and 2500 foreign and Indian journals available by way of National Digital Library. In addition to the manual stock, there are online courses also available SWAYAM, NPTEL, e-PG Pathshala, SWAYAM PRABHA, and CEC.
