The Neotia University

The Neotia University is one of the latest entrants in many universities that have come up in last decade or so. The University was incepted in the year 2014 and has been granted recognition by UGC. • Online Application: In changing times, The Neotia University application form online has seen a massive increase because rather than Walk-In, the online way can serve all the purposes. All you need to do is visit the official university site and then click on Apply Now and you will see in dropdown the list of all the courses. After selecting the course and filling the form is done, you will be required to pay the processing fee and that is 500. The chatbot is available on the university site and if one finds any problem in filling the form, one can just text it there and they will have a solution soon.

• Through Entrance (TNU entrance exam, CET): TNU has its own entrance exam for many of the courses that it offers. The Neotia University courses like engineering and management accepts other entrance scores too. The students with the required cut-off at the entrance will have to go through a counselling session. All the counselling is done only at the campus where students had to carry all their certificates physically and if the university finds them in order, you will be granted admissions in the course that you were seeking for.

• International Admissions: Not much of a difference for the foreign students as they too have to fill the online application form. If the university confirms their admissions, they have to apply for the Indian VISA for which, the university helps the international students to get all their paperwork done. Since, there are other formalities that the international students have to go through, they are invited to the campus a few days earlier than the induction program.

1. Tejasvi Scholarship – As the name suggests, this scholarship is for the brightest students. Students who have WBJEE rank of 2500 or less gets 95% scholarships. Likewise, if they have rank of 10k or less in JEE MAINS, they become eligible for Tejasvi Scholarship of 95%. Tejasvi Scholarship are provided to students with WBJEE rank of up to 15k and JEE MAINS ranks of up to 75k.
2. Sports Scholarship – The Students who have represented state or national level at any team or individual sport get a 60% scholarship.
3. Cultural Scholarship – Just like sport, if a student has represented at any national level cultural event, gets a 60% scholarship.
4. Sarvodaya Scholarship – This is much-needed scholarship awarded by the university as the students with family income of less than 2.5 LPA gets anywhere between 60-90% scholarships.
