Hostels at The Neotia University (TNU), Kolkata are available for both the boys and girls students. To provide a home away from home environment to the students, the University makes an effort to provide lavish hostels with the necessary amenities. With the help of modern aids like CCTV cameras, the hostel authority ensures students’ safety and security.
The Neotia University offers residential facilities to students for their quick access to education and easy proximity to campus facilities. There are nearly 3 hostels for boys with an accommodation capacity of around 1000+ students and a girls’ hostel with an overall capacity of accommodating about 550+ students.
The Neotia University hostel fees are charged every semester. The hostel fees for boys and girls is Rs. 45,000/- per semester and a one-time fee of Rs. 23,000 must be deposited which includes Rs. 15000/- refundable amount.
* Joining TNU Kolkata hostels is not mandatory for students except for those who are willing to pursue a Maritime Studies Course.
At The Neotia University campus, students can enjoy the academic and recreational facilities while staying at the hostels. The Neotia University hostel rooms are equipped with necessary furniture such as beds, tables, chairs, wardrobes, etc. Also, each hostel has a Table Tennis board room, furnished with equipment required to play this sport. There are dedicated common rooms in every hostel building, with on-duty security guards available 24x7.
Students residing at the hostels can enjoy their meals at the centrally located dining hall. This mess facility serves 3 meals a day, including snacks in the evening. The menu is diverse and multi cuisine, making sure to satisfy different taste preferences of students. Special requests are also accommodated on the basis of allergy and dietary preferences.
