The mechanical department was one of the strictest at the institute. The faculty was clear that unless and until you put your best foot forward, you will not have a degree from the college. The markings were strict and attendance even stricter. The mechanical department labs reminded me of the labs I have seen in Hollywood films as they were so spacious and had all the equipment required. If you have an idea in mind and want to execute the college will fund your entire project and will back you through thick and thin to make sure you don’t dire out on resources. We were given opportunities to compete in some of the top events and our college students have also represented at TATA Crucible Quiz and reached the semi-finals.
