Admission to the LL.M program is regulated by the Directorate of Legal Studies, Chennai. Candidates have to apply online through the official website. Selection to this program is based on the percentage of marks obtained in all subjects of the UG degree. The counselling will be conducted online. The authority will release a merit list and students have to fill their choices. As per the candidates’ preference, allotment of seats will be made. Government Law College Madurai offers scholarships to the students. This aid also motivates them to perform better in their academics. Both the residential and non-residential students can apply for it. The financial help is provided to the students only subject to 90% attendance.
The college is located at Dr. Thangaraj Salai Road near district court at Tallakulam in the new building on KK Nagar, Madurai. The infrastructure of the college has a library, and a digital library to support students’ academic needs.
