The university offers scholarships to some of their programs. The Scholarship Committee is the one that decides the scholarship slabs and no changes in it will be done as students won’t move to higher or lower slabs of the scholarships and will only get the scholarship that they deserve. Merit Based Scholarship – Students with 90 or more percentage gets, 100% fee waiver in tuition fees. Students with 80 to 90% gets 40% waiver. If it’s between 70 to 80%, 30% fee waiver is provided, and for students with 60 to 70% gets 20% fee waiver.

Warriors of Covid-19 Scholarship – The university has started a special scholarship for the students who are wards of bank employees, sanitation workers, media persons, nurses, doctors, staff of government or private hospitals, and para-medical staff, and wards of policemen. A 15% flat fee waiver for such students is provided by the university.

Girl Child Scholarship – This is a common scholarship in most universities and MMDU too has special reservations for this scholarship. However, this scholarship is only for girls who carry a state domicile and a 15% fee waiver is provided to all the girls of the state who enrol at MMDU.
