The eligibility criteria will be mentioned at the site so before applying for the preferred course, it is advisable to read that part carefully. If one doesn’t find himself/herself eligible, they can exit from thereon. If one finds themselves eligible, they can submit the application. Once the qualifying exam results are out, the students are contacted through the verified email. JIS University scholarships are made available to students in abundance. From 10 to 100% scholarships are awarded to students of all schools of the university. For all the schools of the university, students securing 90 or more percentage in 12th are given 100% scholarships on their program tuition fee. Students with 80, 70, and 60 get 25, 20, and 10% scholarships respectively. This is not same for all school as above figures are for School of Engineering and likewise for other schools, one condition that is getting 90 or more percentage in 12th gets 100% scholarships but rest all slabs change.
One special scholarship that the university runs is for the students of Tripura. All the students who enter later program of the university’s engineering school gets 40k waived off from there fees upfront.

There is also a hostel for the staff members and they are always available in case of emergencies. The wardens of the hostels are caring. The hostels have apartments that are allotted on double and triple sharing. All the hostel rooms have attached washrooms. The hostels have lounges and common rooms.
