If I may presume that academic wise an MBA student view on academic is based on how good the college is with its flagship course. The college is a purely PG college offering specialization in the common streams. Choice of courses is there at the OBS and some advanced individual subjects are also there. While joining it we were asked to choose our subject and after doing a normal B.Com it was difficult for me to adapt to this pace. Not just me but many students suffered as the college kept on throwing projects after projects and in between exams, internals, and submissions. The fatigue started to happen in the first 3 months itself. It was then that I realized that a break is important before joining the MBA college as having done B.Com will hardly help in MBA studies. The college management understood our point and decreased the pace a bit for the next semester but come the next year and it was the same. Well, I am glad they did this because the demand of the banking systems is such that one has to be prudent always and it was the 2 years with the college that made us learn what being anxious means.Read Full Review

In MBA there are 2 specializations available in the college. 1 is FM (Financial Management) and HRM (Human Resource Management). I was a student of Financial Management and the college academic part was out of the blue. Never expected the kind of infrastructure the research labs, and the helpful faculty that were up for any challenges thrown to them. All the students who have find their way in this college are intelligent and to groom them into a finished material was the challenge thrown to the institute. I will have to say that college did it part really well as the college is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University and every time you will see the University’s merit list you will find names of students studying in Oakbrook.Read Full Review
