The infrastructure of IIMC is to be taken account for. Situated near JNU, it is beautiful. Greenery accompanied by solemn makes it 10 times prettier. Also the shade of trees and greenery of grass which is very rare in Delhi will be seen in the campus. Due to greenery birds of different types and colors can be easily spotted here.

Campus Life at IIMC is very engaging, you get to know people, organise events, and even collaborate with other departments. IIMC is inside the JNU campus and all the facilities of the JNU campus were made accessible to the students of IIMC. Library which was an old age library, canteen that served just a handful of items and trees that could have easily made this place called forest but many buildings between the trees saved it from being called that. Many considered it to be a nice green campus but the institute needs to advance as the studio of the institute was an old age one. Not just that even the auditorium was shared between JNU and IIMC. Our college management had to take prior permission from JNU to hold our meetings and events in that auditorium. IIMC hardly has anything of its own and that in a way has gone against the college.

In this section, I will answer why one should choose IIMC? IIMC is good for sure it’s just that they lack some facilities but the connections that the institute has are overwhelming. IIMC has placed its students in all the big media houses of the country. Almost all ex-alumnus of the college can be found in the advertising, PR, and media industries. I think I should share a trivia and here it is that founding members of Lalantop are alumnus of IIMC. Even if you take placement from the IIMC campus, it gives you an edge when you try to find a job in the market. IIMC campus will give you the best exposure and learning experience by sitting beside some of the big names of the industry. The IIMC, New Delhi is located in the campus of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). The premises is nature hugging with a beautiful landscape. The JNU vibe could be easily felt and seen in the air of IIMC, which undoubtedly, escalates the understanding capacity of new graduates enrolling themselves in the institution. The media center has a rich library that possesses thousands of books, magazines, and novels in multiple languages from Indian as well as foreign authors. It has a super affordable canteen which serves snacks, tea, coffee, and delicious thalis.

The campus has a basketball and badminton court. I big furnished auditorium.

The IIMCians celebrate alumni meet named "Connection" which is like a festival on the campus. The premises get beautifully decorated with arrangements for snacks and dinner. The senior pass-outs from all the previous batches turn up to gel in with current batches.

It is obvious that no education centre teaches you the cent percent about the media industry but provides knowledge and skills to enter into the profession. The real scenario could be understood only after entering into a working sector. Apparently, the expectations from IIMC should not be kept too high. It is only the hard work and dedication of the student that pays off.
