Brainware University aims at providing a comfortable living environment to students. The University has separate well-furnished hostels for boys and girls. The hostels are located within the campus of the University. It is mandatory for students enrolled in B.Sc Nursing and GNM program to live on campus while it is optional for all other students.

Brainware University Kolkata offers residential facilities in Non-AC rooms only. Every hosteller is entitled to receive basic amenities in the Brainware University hostel room including a cot, study table, chair, and an almirah with tubelights and ceiling fans. The hostel has single rooms, twin sharing, and four-bed occupancy options.

Brainware University hostel fees include food and lodging, which varies depending on the sharing capacity of rooms. Nursing students are provided accommodation in 4 bed sharing rooms only while other students can choose from single bed rooms, 2 bed sharing rooms, and 4 bed sharing rooms. Single and 2 bed sharing rooms are available only for girls. Rooms will be allocated to students through a lottery system.

Apart from the monthly hostel fees, students are required to pay a one-time refundable caution deposit of Rs. 10,000/- and a non-refundable joining fees of Rs. 10,000/-. Hostel fees are to be paid on a quarterly basis. The monthly room charges for various room types are as follows:

Students seeking accommodation in the Brainware University Kolkata hostel must follow certain rules and maintain the decorum. Below-mentioned are few rules that apply to the hostellers:

• Any student is not allowed to interchange rooms with others without written permission of the warden.
• Hostellers should not remain in the hostel during class hours unless they do not have classes or are sick.
• All students living in the hostels can leave the hostel in the afternoon after classes are over on weekdays by signing the in-out register at the campus gate.
• Students leaving the campus must return before 8 PM and sign the register. Also, all the hostellers must be in their rooms between 8 PM and 9 PM for attendance.
• Hostel doors close at 10 PM post which no hosteller is permitted to leave the premises.
• Consumption of alcohol, drugs, tobacco, or gambling in any form are strictly prohibited.
• Students should be dressed decently while living in the hostel.
• Any students should not indulge in political or communal activity or make unions.
• Cooked food from outside is strictly not allowed inside the hostel.

Brainware University Campus has a food court and canteen that provide meals from breakfast to dinner; hostellers will be served meals in the dining hall of the canteen. Furthermore, the University has a gym, indoor game facilities such as Table Tennis, Carrom, and Chess and outdoor sports arena with a Football and Cricket ground, Volleyball court, and Badminton court which hostellers can use.
