VGU, Faculty of Law is one of the best colleges for studying law. As most of the youth in this generation are willing to make their career in the law profession, this college is the best option for them.

The college offers undergraduate programs such as LLB, BA LLB, and BBA LLB and doctorate degree such as Ph.D. in law. Undergraduate programs such as LLB are of 3-year duration and the students will be studying 6 semesters i.e. 2 semesters per year. BA LLB and BBA LLB are integrated courses. It takes 5 years to complete and the students will be studying 10 semesters during these courses i.e. 2 semesters per year. It will prepare the student for the world to see legal aspects.

VGU, Faculty of Law admits students on their previous qualification basis and through the university entrance examination. The applying candidates can apply for admission on the website of VGU. On the website, the students can fill out the form and personal details and can also submit the application form fee. The applicants can also visit the campus and fill out the form there with the help of the staff. Students who have completed their class XII and are willing to make their future in law can opt for BA LLB or BBA LLB. They can either complete their bachelor's degree as well as the LLB.

The eligibility criteria for the courses provided by the college are mentioned below:

LLB (3 years) - The applying candidate must have graduated in any stream. At least 45 percent for the general category is asked and for other castes as per the government policy. There are as many as 60 seats available for students in this course.

BA/ BBA LLB (5 years) - The applying candidate must have passed class XII. It requires more than 50% and must have cleared CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) or LSAT (Law School Admission Test), 60 seats are there.

VGU, Faculty of Law gives scholarships to students on the following basis:

Merit Scholarship: If the student has performed excellently in their previous qualification exam. They are given the advantage of a scholarship under the following criteria:

1. If the applicant has achieved 65% to 75% or similar CGPA in their previous qualifying exam. They will be getting a concession of 10% on their academic fees.
2. If the applicant has achieved 75% & above or a similar CGPA in their previous qualifying exam. They will be getting a concession of 25% on their academic fees.

Alumni Scholarship: Students who have previously done their education from any college of this university. They will be getting the following scholarships:

1. The male candidates will be getting a concession of 25 %. The female candidates will be getting a 30% concession on their academic fees.
2. The employees who’ve been a member of the university for more than 2 years will get a concession of 30% on the academic fee.

Sports Quota Scholarship: Students who have been selected or have achieved something in sports are eligible. They will get the benefit of the scholarships under the following conditions:

1. If the applying candidate has participated in any known state or national or AIU level sports competition. They will be getting a scholarship of 20% of the tuition fee.
2. If the applying candidate has won a Bronze or Silver medal at any known National or AIU level championship. They will be getting a scholarship of 30% on the tuition fee.
3. If the applying candidate has won a Gold medal at any known National or AIU level championship. They will be getting a scholarship of 40% on the tuition fee.
4. Government Scholarship: Any scholarship listed by the Central Government or Rajasthan Government can be availed under the policies.

Note: The applying candidate can only avail of any one of the scholarships mentioned above.
