The students who have completed their undergraduate degree in law can eventually go for further studies which can be LLM or MBA. Or they can even go for seeking a job in different fields. The graduates can take up a job in any of the private firms worldwide as corporate lawyers. They can even take up their career as legal advisors for any of the companies and help the company to make legal decisions. The students can even go for the judicial services.
The college has state of art infrastructure to offer to the students. A separate ATM is available for the students of the university.

Moot Court: There is a separate moot court for the students of law at the Bharath Institute of Law. It is specially designed in a court-like manner for the students of the institute so that they get a real-time experience when they practice over there.
Hostel Facilities: The hostels of the institute are in association with Bharath University. There are a total of 6 blocks of hostel at the university. Both AC and non-AC facilities are provided at the hostels of University. Single, double, and triple occupancy facilities are available in both boys and girls hostels. For the entertainment of the students TV is available on each floor of the hostel and laundry services are also available on an optional basis to the students.
Dining Hall: The institute has a separate dining hall for hostel students which offers a variety of food options for the students. The students get a choice to choose from veg and non-veg options for their preferred food. Along with this, they get a lot of other cuisines options in food for their meals.
Transportation: The institute runs its buses on all the routes. The buses of the institute go to each and every major point of the city which makes it easier for the students and faculties to commute to the institute on a daily basis without any difficulty.
Library: The library for the Bharath Institute of Law is combined with the Bharath University. The library has all the variety of books that a student may need for his/her academic help. The institute even has an e-library for the students for easy access to various study materials which can't be made available in hard covers. There are various divisions in the library of the institute for the student's convenience.
Sports: Various grounds are made available by the institute for the students. There are separate facilities for sports at the institute. Like basketball, volleyball, cricket, football, throw ball, badminton, and racing tracks.
Health center: The institute takes special care of the hostel students. They are provided with regular medical attention at the institute. The hospital of the institute has 24*7 emergency facilities for the students. The students are attended by trained doctors from the university hospital whenever needed.
Bharath Institute of Law started in Tamilnadu by Sri Lakshmi Ammal Education Trust in the year 1984. It is one of the emerging institutions in India by constantly making efforts to improve the quality of education. The college is the first self-financed institution in Tamilnadu, set up by Dr. S. Jagathrakshakan. It provides higher education to build a career in the field of Law. All the courses of the institution have affiliation from Bharath University Chennai and accredited by NAAC UGC. The college received an ‘A’ grade by NAAC for its services. It also received an award for the Best Globalized Higher Education Institution and the Best Private University in 2016. BIL is considered as one of the most famous institutions within Chennai to pursue graduation in the field of Law.
The college offers students different full-time undergraduate programs in the area of Law to help them become efficient professionals. Students must pass their 10+2 examination from any recognized institution not scoring less than 50% of aggregate marks. To appear in the final term examination students must meet 75% of attendance at the end of the semester. Students can also join the institution by appearing in national levels entrance exams like CLAT, LSAT, or AILET. The college organizes an entrance test known as the BEEE exam to select excellent candidates.
Bharath Institute of Law has a well-maintained library with a seating capacity of 600 students at a time. There are several books related to Law and other fields to provide a wide range of reading material. The total number of documents within the library includes books, journals, periodicals, back volumes, magazines, and newspapers. The library has the facility of digital libraries from one can access the online database. It has a collection of over 170000 books, and 20000 online databases comprising of E-books, E-journals, etc. It offers high-speed internet and other services like photocopying, reprography, and plagiarism checker.
