The CT Institute of Technology, situated in Jalandhar, register students for engineering disciplines including electrical & electronics, and civil engineering. CTIT is one of the institutes of the CT Group of Institutions administered and owned by CT Educational Society. The CT Educational Society witnessed incorporation in 1997 under the guiding hand of its honorable Chairman S. Charanjit Singh Channi, a social reformer, educationist, and visionary. The Society set the ball rolling by opening a school in 1997 and blazed a scintillating trail by setting up the CT Institute of Technology in 2008.
The Group of Institutions happens to be one of the foremost academic behemoths in Punjab that focuses on academic excellence. It offers graduate and postgraduate courses in diverse educational disciplines, including hospitality management, commerce, engineering, architecture, and computer applications. CTIT initially had an intake capacity of sixty seats for every engineering stream.
However, the Chairman raised the intake (for every department) by an extra sixty seats when he witnessed the enthusiasm of the students. The institution has accreditation with AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), and PTU (Punjab Technical University) has granted affiliation to it.
