The DGMC courses are inclusive of the Post Graduate Diploma in Management, Media & Communication. Refer below for more details on the program.
The College’s full-time PGDM course has 2-year duration. This post-graduate-level course is an industry-oriented one. The program includes classroom-based teaching and internships.
Through the course, the pupils gain knowledge of the media industry. These include live events, digital media, print, television, music, films, and radio – among others. More so, the students learn the managerial aspects of media management. Also, technical training is part of the course curriculum.
The course has 2 specializations: Media & Entertainment and Advertising & Communication.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant has to secure a Bachelors degree from any recognized Board/University. Moreover, their minimum score has to be 50% aggregate marks. An equivalent CGPA qualifies them as well.
If appearing for the qualifying exam, then also they can apply. In such cases, they could get provisional admission. And after securing minimum 50% aggregate marks or CGPA equivalent, they get admission.
Also, mandatorily, the aspirant should qualify for below-listed entrance examinations:
CAT (of the IIMs), GMAT (of GMAC, USA), CMAT (of AICTE), MAT (of AIMA), XAT (of XLRI), ATMA (of AIMS)
Note
The DGMC fee structure for Indian students for the PGDM course is pegged at INR 6,45,000. The figure is inclusive of college, tuition and library fees. However, for international students, they can get information on the DGMC fees of the aforesaid course at the office.
