Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University was established in 2014 with an objective to impart high quality education, advanced knowledge, innovative thinking, and ethical values. It is dedicated towards nurturing young minds and emphasises on producing talented individuals with modern skills, extensive knowledge, leadership qualities, diverse and entrepreneurial abilities, and ethical and cultural values. CRSU is a State University approved by UGC and recognised by AIU.

CRSU offers financial help and scholarships to the students to encourage them to pursue higher education. CRSU has a Training and Placement Cell which provides support and guidance to the students. The Cell organises training and development programs for enhancing the soft and technical skills and developing the leadership qualities amongst the students. It also organises workshops, conferences, seminars, industrial visits, promotes internship opportunities, and conducts on-campus recruitment campaigns for the students.
CRSU is situated at a distance of 2 kms from Gohana Bypass, Jind and is spread over 75 acres.
