The placement cell of the institute works with the objective of facilitating job opportunities to the students in their respective field. To prepare students for campus interviews, the cell arranges internship programmes which assist students to gain practical experience. The institute invites various livestock and poultry related industries for campus placement such as poultry hatcheries, animal feed industries, pharmaceutical industries, poultry farms, milk processing units, and many others. 

VCRI campus is enabled with all the basic and state-of-art infrastructure and facilities. The whole campus of the institute is under CCTV surveillance. Various clubs are available in the institute which organise curricular and extracurricular activities for the overall development of the students. Following are the details of the institutes infrastructure and amenities:

• Library: The air-conditioned library of the institute is built on 10,830 square feet of area which is equipped with more than 13,000 printed books, 190+ e-books, 60+ journals, 580+ hard copies & 470+ soft copies of thesis, 3,500+ back volumes of journals, periodicals, magazines, and many other resource materials. The digital library of the institute is enabled with more than 20 computers with internet facility to access the online resources. The library has various sections such as book bank section, reference materials, circulation, reading hall, etc.
• Computer Centre: To facilitate computing facilities for the students, the campus has a well equipped computer centre with latest and updated systems. The seminar room of the computer centre is enabled with ICT facilities.
• Hostel: The institute offers accommodation facilities to the students within the campus. Separate buildings are available for both boys and girls with all the required amenities. The hostel provides various facilities such as internet facility, medical services, etc. To provide food facilities to the students, the hostels have a mess.
• Sports: The campus has a fully furnished indoor stadium along with a gym facility. The institute provides outdoor sports facilities for cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, etc. Institute motivates the students to participate in the various sports events and tournaments for their physical development.
• Auditorium: In the institute premises, a fully furnished auditorium is available with a seating capacity of around 500 students at a time for organising various events, seminars, conferences, etc.
