L.N. Medical College offers a full-time course of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). It also presents a postgraduate program in Doctorate of Medicine and Master of Surgery. It is an undergraduate course of 5.5 years having 150 seats followed by a year of internship. In this course, the students get a concise introduction about human anatomy and cytology, pharmaceutical, drug formulation, and method of surgery. To take admission, students must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Biology, and Chemistry as main subjects having an aggregate of 50% marks.
After completing the degree, graduates have two options either start their firm and become an entrepreneur or go for higher studies. Students can become Doctors, Physicians, Medical professors, and Researchers.
The course is a 3-year postgraduate course that teaches students about the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases. The college offers various specializations in this course including Anatomy, Biochemistry, Forensic Medicine, Microbiology, General Medicine, Microbiology, Pathology, Pediatrics, Pharmacology, Physiology, Radiodiagnosis, and Anesthesiology.
For admissions, students must have an MBBS degree and have completed one year of internship from any affiliated university. NEET examination is compulsory and candidates are selected based on their entrance exam scores.
This is a 2-year postgraduate program, training students with knowledge on surgical treatment of abdominal organs and operative procedures related to various diseases and injuries. Students are trained in such a way during the session that they are prepared to carry out these surgeries with proper treatment.
The college offers specialization in different fields of surgery including General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, and E.N.T. To take admission, students must have passed their bachelor’s degree with at least 50% of aggregate marks. Those who have finished their MBBS degree with a year of internship are also eligible for admission in this course.
The criteria to join is having a post-graduation degree in Medicine or MS/MD degree with a base total of 55% marks or more from a perceived college affiliated under UGC/AIU. The course empowers students to get a top to bottom knowledge into different zones of medication. It is a 3-year full-time doctoral program in medical science.
