Fazlani Academy of Business Sciences grew and developed from the need to train career-driven students to equip them with the skills and knowhow for contributing towards societal and national development. The business school offers a total of four PGPEM (postgraduate programs in early management) with special focus on sales and marketing, applied human resource, investment banking & securities operations, and operation management. The curriculum of all these postgraduate management programs has been designed, keeping in mind the career goals of working professionals.
The PGPEM (sales & marketing) is a postgraduate management program having a study period of two years. The entire program has been divided into three sections-foundations, intermediate, and advanced. During the foundation stage, students study about data analytics, finance, marketing, accounting, microeconomics and macroeconomics for managers, and operations management.
At the intermediate phase, graduate students receive instructions on B2B marketing, creating and building brand equity, relationship marketing, sales management, consumer behavior, and market research. After progressing to the advanced stage, the students gather knowledge on digital marketing, contemporary marketing channels, predictive analysis for business decision making, advanced marketing research, and marketing strategies for innovative products and services.
Graduates of any UGC-approved university or institution, having achieved nothing less than 50% in aggregate can send in their application. Graduate professionals and students due to appear for their final examination of the graduation level can apply as well.
The PGPEM (applied human resource management) course offered by Fazlani Academy of Business Sciences is a two-year fulltime on-campus course. Like the PGPEM (sales & marketing) program, the syllabus of the course is segregated into three integrated phases including foundations, intermediate, and advanced stages. At the foundation level, students imbibe knowledge on the essentials of leadership and excellence, modern marketing applications, concepts of business jurisprudence, models of organizational change, corporate financial management, and fundamentals of managerial statistics.
Once they graduate to the intermediate stage, the learners pick up the basics of business strategy and tactics, organizational change management, the spirit of entrepreneurship, workforce legislation, employee remuneration and motivation. The advanced phase has duration of 8-10 months duration during which time students learn about group and leadership behavior, coaching & mentoring, employee counseling, performance management, human resource information systems and audit, and HR in mergers & acquisitions.
The basic eligibility criterion for this program is clearing the final graduation exam (arts, science or commerce stream) of any approved university. Additionally, the student should achieve at least 50% in aggregate. Students scheduled to appear in the final exam as well as graduate professionals can apply. However, since this program is a fulltime course, working professionals need to maintain 100% attendance.
