Faculty of Dental Sciences at MSRUAS Bangalore was set up in 1991 in the capital city of Karnataka. The college's previous name was MS Ramaiah Dental College. The college follows the DCI-recommended curriculum. The classes assist students in gaining the necessary abilities that will benefit them in the workplace. Through the courses at the campus students can cover oral and dental health. This dental sciences faculty has been ranked 14th by the NIRF among all the dental colleges in the country.

The college offers four-year UG studies as well as three-year PG courses. In dental surgery, the college offers both bachelor's and master's degrees that are BDS & MDS. Students in UG degrees must complete a 1-year internship out of a 4-year program. Dentistry certificate programs are widely available at the college. Certificates in oral Implantology are offered by the college. There are Ph.D. programs available at the college for those who want to pursue doctoral studies. The institute has a department of oral medicine, oral pathology, microbiology, and radiology.

The college accepts applications in online and offline modes. The candidates can fill in all the details in the form after checking their eligibility. They can also do physical submission of the form. The students have to mention their working mail address as it is used by the admin office for future communications. The students have to attach their supporting docs to the form. Candidates can only apply for the same course in one admission year.

Candidates will be selected for courses that have entrance exams based on how well they perform on the exams. They should meet all other eligibility requirements for admission. If a course doesn’t need any entrance exam they will be selected based on their performance on their most recent academic examinations.

1. Class 10th and 12th scorecard
2. UG and PG score cards if students are going for Ph.D. admission
3. Work experience letter and NOC if applicable, for Ph.D. students
4. For lateral entry students have to submit their diploma certificates
5. Entrance score if applicable
6. Transfer certificate
7. Aadhar Card photocopy
8. Migration certificate if students are from other boards.

The docs asked by international students are:

1. Six passport-size photos
2. Passport
3. Student Visa
4. Citizenship certificate
5. Sponsorship letter if asked
6. Foreign students and graduates from international institutions must present an Equivalence Certificate from the AIU.

There are numerous government, non-profit, and university-based scholarships available. If a candidate has a disability, is an orphan, or is the only female child of the parents, they are all eligible for a 10% tuition fee waiver on all courses. Additionally, the college offers 10% scholarships to applicants from India's hilly states. There is also 10% of the fees waived for students who were badly affected during the covid wave.

Sports Category: Students who took part in national competitions will receive a 20K award. Additionally, those who have competed in local events are eligible for a 10K grant.

Defence: Children of members of the armed forces receive a 5% tuition scholarship, and children of martyrs receive a 10% scholarship.
