MITCOM has a dedicated ‘Training and Placement Cell’ helping students make the most of grooming and placement opportunities. Students by exploiting this platform get the opportunity to display their individual capabilities and skill-set that may be needed by employers and recruiters. The T & P department invites more than 300 companies every year, and has helped most of the students’ effectively secure lucrative jobs in well-know companies.

Due credit should be given to the placement cell for nurturing and cementing robust relationships with the leading corporate and industry captains. The students regularly look for assistance from the T&P cell and consequently make the most of their opportunities to establish their mettle. The placement department also constantly networks with alumni contributing to almost all the reputed firms engaged in different sectors of trade and commerce.

The T & P cell spares no effort in helping the students imbibe entrepreneurship and employability skills which eventually helps them in landing well-paying jobs. The training division designs and organizes personalized training programs for equipping students with personality development, group discussion, offline and online and soft skills. This scientific way of molding students has resulted in the maximum placement of students in topnotch companies in India and overseas.

The total number of placements usually averages 83% from one year to the other. The highest compensation awarded so far was Rs.13 lakh with the average CTC for all jobs being Rs. 3.88 lakh. Every year a minimum of 118 companies and firms visit the MITCOM campus for recruiting students.
