DAV College Chandigarh Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The college infrastructure is outdated. Libraries and reading hall areas are a great thing. 3 canteens are present in the college and a cafeteria outside the college is also available. My favorite thing about DAV College, Chandigarh is the gardens. Having so many gardens to just hang around and study really helps a lot to relax and take a break from the hectic schedule.

My overall campus life is good but a bit boring; The college crowd is great being from vast areas. There are many clubs in the college. Engagement activities are organised by the college every year or two. The annual fest is called ‘Karvan’ which is a top tier event. My experience has been great with Karvan. The infrastructure is good at DAV College. They renovate it from time to time. The buildings, classes and toilets are mostly good at DAV College. The locality is really good; it is in Sector 10 in Chandigarh, which is a Posh sector in Chandigarh. There is a Badminton hall, basketball ground, shooting range, volleyball ground and a cricket ground in the campus. The college campus has 2 canteens and the food served there is good too. They have their own Ambulance in the college. The security is really good like CCTVs and security guards are always present in the campus. They have 2 auditoriums, a small one and a big one. The library is really good; it’s peaceful and filled with a lot of knowledge. Different labs are also present in the college.

Campus life is good at DAV College. If you want to learn then you can learn, and if you want fun then you can have fun here. The crowd is average. The clubs are really helpful. There are a lot of clubs for people with different skills, but I'm not part of any club. They organize a lot of extracurricular activities, fests and events in a year. The students have access to a 24 hour ATM in the college. There is a branch of nationalized bank- State Bank Of India within the campus. The college has facilities of a drycleaner and cobbler at prices more than reasonable for the convenience of students. A well stocked stationery and book shop lets students have access to stationery supplies within the premises at all working hours.

The life of this college is beyond comparable. There is an all-time awaited fest for three days in month of February. On other days, regular and fests held by student clubs. Some of the clubs run by students are Aaghaz, Ews, and Red Cross Society campus.Read Full Review
