Santosh Dental College was established in the year 1995 with the aim of providing quality dental education. The college is affiliated with Santosh University (Deemed to be University) and approved by the Dental Council of India. The college is also recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited by NAAC. The college offers admission to BDS program at UG level and MDS program is offered at PG level across 9 departments. Along with this, Ph.D programs are also available in 4 different specialisations namely Maxillofacial Surgery, Integrated Implantology, Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics, and Pediatrics & Preventive Dentistry.

Tabulated below are the minimum eligibility requirements for admission to the UG, PG, and Ph.D programs offered by the college:

*Students who have passed the CSIR-UGC NET / JRF examination or have been selected for JRF / SRF / Project fellows in Research Projects sanctioned by the funding agencies or to any of the faculty members of Santosh University will be exempted from Ph.D entrance test.

Admission Process

Admission to UG programs at Santosh Dental College is done through the counselling process conducted by DGHS. To do this, students must register themselves at the MCC official portal. Please follow the steps mentioned below for successful registration:

• Visit the official website of MCC
• Click on ‘New Registration’ link under the ‘Candidate Activity Board’ tab
• You will be redirected to the registered candidates sign in page
• Go through the important instructions as shown
• Fill out the form using details like NEET UG roll no., password, and security pin
• Click on ‘Sign In’
• Further, enter all the personal, educational, and NEET details as required
• Upload scanned photograph and signature
• Pay the registration fees
• Take a printout of the registration form for future reference.

After successfully registering for the UG NEET counselling, students have to fill in their preferred choices for colleges and programs in order of preference. It is crucial to lock the choices before the deadline. Once the choice is locked, they cannot be changed or modified.

On a notified date, the counselling authority will release a merit list based on students’ merit secured in NEET, and seats available at the institute. The first merit list will contain the names of the selected candidates. Students who are satisfied with their allotments must physically report to the allotted institutes carrying a few documents. After Round 1, fresh registrations and choice filling sessions begin for Round 2. Fresh registrations are accepted for the same and for the free-exit candidates of Round 1.
