This private institute provides programs like Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Master of Science-Hospitality Studies, Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Studies, Program Advertisement, and Certificate Programs.
National and international students can take admission to this institute but they have to follow certain eligibility criteria. NRI Students who want to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Studies from AISSMS will have to qualify for the exam taken by the University of Pune as this course. AISSMS College of Hotel Management & Catering Technology commenced its journey in the year 1997 under the aegis of AISSMS. All India Sri Shivaji Memorial Society was incorporated way back in 1917 by late Alija Bahadur Madhavrao Scindia Maharaj of Gwalior and late Sri Srimant Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj of Kolhapur. The chief objective behind the establishment of AISSMSCHMCT was to disseminate technical education and wisdom in the field of hospitality to aspirants.
The AISSMS College of Hotel Management & Catering Technology offers a suite of programs including a bachelor of hotel management and catering technology, B. Sc. Hospitality Studies, B. Vocational hotel management, and a bachelor of vocational studies, hospitality. The hospitality industry in India as well as in the rest of the world had been burgeoning phenomenally since the eighties of the last century.
Consequently, the demand for efficient professionals who could offer their services in the allied segments of the hospitality sector too had grown overwhelmingly. Therefore, there was a pressing need to train, prepare, and supply employable candidates who could offer valuable services to the hospitality sector. AISSMS founders joined forces to set up the College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology keeping in mind the heavy demand for hospitality professionals.
Since 1997 AISSMS CHMCT has been selflessly delivering education and training to aspirants looking to carve a career in the hospitality sector.
