Government Medical College Haldwani Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

GMC Haldwani has a large campus. The facilities provided in this college include mess, hostel rooms, library and sports ground. The infrastructure of this college is getting renovated. It includes a sports ground, sports complex, gym, badminton court and a table tennis court etc. A canteen is also available where you get all eatables and groceries.

The campus life of GMC Haldwani is a new experience in itself. It has a green campus with many trees around it, giving a cool environment in the summers. The academic blocks are well constructed, with each department having its own area. The amenities provided by the college are gym, outdoor and indoor sports complex, library, auditorium, canteen and hostels. Mess is provided at an additional cost, which is compulsory for all hostellers. Greenery is also maintained all over the campus.

The campus life in our college is average. Though it is not very exciting but it’s okay. We have some clubs run by the students themselves. Senior and junior interaction is also good. A fest was held last year and it was amazing. We also have freshers and farewell parties on campus every year for the respective batches.Read Full Review

Non clinical academics block are inside the campus and near the hostel. It takes almost 5 minute to reach the academic cell from hostel. There are two gates of college one is Rampur gate which is near library and another gate is near the hostel. On entering form the library side there is first academic block then physiology department and after that anatomy department and within there is biochemistry department and going further there is cafeteria and near that there is forensic medicine and community medicine department and pharmacology department. A little far from there is microbiology and pathology department and other clinical departments are in hospital which is about 1 km from the hostel.

As per my own experience my college life is very good and going smoothly. Campus Life is very cool and you can go anywhere in the campus. There are parks and a big playground where you can play and near that there is gym and indoor sports complex. The campus is not much crowded about 1000 people live in the campus including faculty and students. There are few clubs in the campus like poetry club, dance club and dog lover club you can join any club according to your wish. Last year fest also happened named Aarambh. There are lots of engaging activities in the campus which you will definitely enjoy.Read Full Review
