CAIIHM has an exclusive cell for placement that works day and night to make sure that 100% of students get jobs in reputed organisations. The students gain real experience in the hotel management industry as it handles many workshops. The cell connects with top-notch hotels so that students can get opportunities to join the hotels as soon as they finish their degrees. Chennais Amirta Institute has a balanced infrastructure on campus. The college has a beautiful front office lobby where students' and parents’ queries are resolved by the staff.
Labs: The College has a housekeeping lab where students get to learn about bed making and interior settings during practicals. At the carving lab, students get lessons about fruit and vegetable carving, as carving is a crucial part of the food industry. In the bartending lab, students are taught about the equipment and glass wares used in the bars. The students get to learn about cocktail and mocktail preparations. They are taught about the front bar; back bar, and under the bar and how to do juggling and flaring. The bakery lab teaches basic baking skills and students learn the art of making cakes, pastries, and cookies. In the culinary lab, students are exposed to the art and method of cooking.
Classrooms: The College has smart classrooms that have chairs and tables for students. The classrooms have an audio facility with projectors. The students also get hard copies of the notes to revise after class. After getting theoretical knowledge in the classroom, students are given practical classes. In practical classes, they learn how to deal with the different equipment used in the hotel industry.
Hostels: The College has hostels with all the possible amenities for students. The students will get 24 hours of electricity and separate facilities for girls and boys. A mess facility is available for students which provide homely food. Students are given beds and safety lockers along with the other required furniture. There is an A/C and non-AC facility, and a female security guard to make sure that girls feel safe in the hostel. Full-time surveillance and security are there on campus.
Other facilities include transportation for day scholars and also if the students go on industrial visits. There is also an anti-ragging cell to make sure that ragging, like illegal activities, doesn’t occur on the campus.
