Al-Ameen College of Law was established in 1991 under the aegis of Al-Ameen Educational Society. It is affiliated to the Karnataka State Law University (KSLU), Hubli. The College is NAAC accredited & recognised by UGC and the Bar Council of India (BCI).

Al-Ameen College of Law situated in Bangalore was established under the auspices of the celebrated Al-Ameen Educational Society. One of the most eminent law colleges in India, AACL is a private law institution affiliated to Karnataka State Law University. The Bar Council of India, as well as the prestigious University of Cambridge, has given its approval to the law college.
The NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) accredited the institution with a B++ grade in 2016. Al-Ameen Educational Society which owns and administers the law institution was incorporated way back in 1966 by Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed Khan. An esteemed humanitarian, Dr. Ahmed Khan is an MBBS graduate of Madras University (now Chennai University).
