Situated in the holy city of Varanasi, the Sri Agrasen Kanya P.G. college was established in the year 1973. The college is well known for its academic excellence and gained autonomy in the session 2001-02. It is the first Women’s Autonomous College of Uttar Pradesh and is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidya Peeth, Varanasi. Accredited with NAAC, the college is also recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC). It offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Mission & Vision: The college’s purpose is to provide higher education to all the women irrespective of their race, class, community and geographical boundaries so that the women can also participate actively in the society and help instill self-confidence in female students and make them aware of their social and economic rights.
