Sri Rajiv Gandhi College of Dental Sciences, Bangalore Campus Life
SRGCDS has a very scenic and picturesque campus set in the heart of the city and spreads across an area of 10 acres. The college has another campus in the Yelahanka suburb of Bangalore with an area of 25 acres where students normally conduct high-level research. The entire campus of the college is Wi-Fi enabled which allows students to take advantage of the computerized systems in all dentistry departments.
Internet and Wi-Fi networks can also be accessed in the playgrounds, gardens, cafeteria, canteens, hospitals, and hostels. The campus houses a well-equipped research center that allows postgraduate candidates and faculties to undertake painstaking research. The central library stocks innumerable textbooks and reference manuals on almost all dentistry disciplines.
The library also subscribes to numerous international and national journals and periodicals pertaining to dental and medical sciences. The institution publishes a dental periodical that goes by the name of “Dental Era”. The dental college owns and operates a fleet of buses for the students who have to undertake field trips and hands-on training programs frequently.
Students can also access several indoor and outdoor sports facilities including but not limited to badminton, volleyball, and basketball. Trained security guards and CCTVs provide an impregnable ring of security to the college.
