The campus of SKAMSCH&RC is situated in the Vijaynagar suburb of Bangalore and set amidst idyllic surroundings. The medical college boasts of a world-class infrastructure that can compare with the infrastructural facilities of any institution in India. The college has well-ventilated and spacious classrooms that can accommodate a large number of students.
The seating arrangement is in tune with ergonomic principles which enable all students to sit and study comfortably. Every classroom has its own blackboard, LCD screen, OHP, and whiteboard. Every department has its distinct laboratories for conducting experiments and carrying out simulated clinical treatments.
The laboratories come equipped with mannequins, charts, specimens, models, and essential equipment for procedural demonstrations. The students perform Ayurvedic procedures and carry out demonstrations under the strict supervision of professors and lecturers. SKAMSCH&RC’s library stocks over 20,000 books (of the latest editions) pertaining to different branches of Ayurveda and innumerable reference manuals.
The library has Wi-Fi and internet connectivity, and also offers access to more than 2,000 online medical journals. The college maintains a 10-acre herbal garden containing over 400 medicinal plant species. Students regularly visit the garden for getting first-hand knowledge about the medicinal extracts sourced from the plants.
