Bapuji College of Nursing was founded in the year 1970 by the Bapuji Educational Association to promote nursing education in Davangere. The college is affiliated with RGUHS Bangalore and approved by the Karnataka State Nursing Council (KSNC). The college offers B.Sc and M.Sc programs in the field of nursing for duration of 4 years and 2 years respectively. Along with this, students can also pursue a 3-years diploma program in General Nursing and Midwifery.

Admission Process
The admission process at the college usually begins in the month of April-May. Admission is completely based on the marks secured in the last qualifying examination, and other selection criteria. To apply for admission at the college, students have to send a separate application. The application form is provided by the college. After submitting the form along with the documents, the selection process will commence. The selection procedure comprises interviews conducted by the principal to evaluate students’ communication skills, and suitability of the program. After reviewing the documents, and evaluating students’ performance in the interviews, the college selects candidates for admission. Selected candidates are notified by the college about their application status. Upon acceptance, they will receive an admission offer letter.
