Krupanidhi College of Pharmacy courses include the Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Master of Physiotherapy ones. The successful candidates are awarded the respective degrees that are accredited by India’s statutory bodies and accepted around the world. Thus, the College graduates can apply for the various employment opportunities in the Physiotherapy field and in any country, upon course completion.
The College’s full-time Bachelor of Physiotherapy has duration of 4.5 years, with a focus on patient care and evidence-based studies. The course entails understanding the role of health professionals in the welfare sector, developing physiotherapy skills, delving into biosciences such as pharmacology and pathology, and several practical sessions. As part of the College’s practical education and to gain expertise in the field of physiotherapy, the students practice physiotherapy on each other under this course.
Only aspirants between the age group of 17-35 years are eligible to apply for the College’s Bachelor of Physiotherapy course; also, they should have passed the Pre-university course by scoring 45% marks after combining subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, while the medium of study should be English.
Under the College’s 2-year full-time Masters in Physical Therapy (MPT) course, there is focus on assessing and treating limited mobility patients. A competent team of faculty members, who are experts in fields such as knowledge orthopedics and neuroscience, are appointed to mentor the next generation of physiotherapists.
The candidates, to be eligible, have to pass the Bachelor of Physiotherapy course that runs for 3.5 to 4 years and from a recognized university, having minimum 50% aggregate marks; additionally, a 6-month internship on a rotational basis with a reputed hospital is one of the pre-requisites of this course.
Upon successful completion of the College’s MPT program, the students can avail employment as physiotherapists in multinational companies, NGOs, schools for physically-challenged classes, old age homes, multi-specialty hospitals, gymnasiums, sports clubs, health organizations, rehabilitation center, educational institutions, and various other bodies.
