It was the farsightedness and avid enthusiasm of a renowned Ayurvedic practitioner, Dr. Prashant S Acharya that led to Atreya Ayurvedic Medical College’s establishment. Dr. P S Acharya had cherished a lifelong dream to create a community of healthcare professionals who’d serve the masses by exploiting the ancient Ayurvedic therapeutic system. AAMC commenced its fateful journey in 2003 as a small healthcare center in the Bangalore suburb of Dodaballapura.
The smalltime healthcare organization gradually burgeoned with the passage of time to become the Atreya Ayurvedic Medical College as the towns people benefited from the healthcare services. The incorporation of the Atreya Charitable Trust headed by Shivruddriah paved the way for the founding of Atreya Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital and Research Center in 2006. Since its inception, AAMC has led from the front in nurturing excellence in myriad aspects of Ayurvedic education and healthcare.
AAMC strives to be a versatile academic institution, endeavoring to promote value-oriented Ayurvedic edification with a view to developing efficient healthcare professionals with well-rounded personalities.
